The Norfolk County Council propose to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Norfolk County Council (Sprowston, Atlantic Avenue)
(Prohibition of Waiting) Order 202X
The effect of this Order will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting restriction at any time along the following length of road:
Road | Description |
5P251 Atlantic Avenue (Both Sides) | From a point 20 metres north-east of the centreline of the junction with the A1151 Wroxham Road roundabout, north-eastwards to its junction with the 5P268 Overstrand Way roundabout, a distance of 1,132 metres. From the centre point of its junction with the 5P268 Overstrand Way roundabout, north-eastwards to the centre point of its junction with C283 Salhouse Road, a distance of 650 metres. |

(40 mph Speed Limit) Order 202X
The effect of this Order will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 40mph along the following length of road:

5P251 Atlantic Avenue | From a point 20 metres north-east of the centre point of its junction with the A1151 Wroxham Road roundabout, north-eastwards to its junction with C283 Salhouse Road, a distance of 1,782 metres. |

Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Broadland District Council The Horizon Centre, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0WF.
Any objections and representations relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, Chief Executive’s Office, South Wing, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the Traffic Regulation Order Team by no later than 1st September 2026. They may also be emailed to trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk
