Lower Road, Mackworth - Temporary Road Closure To Replacement Of Telegraph Pole
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE LOWER ROAD, MACKWORTH
WHEN: 01 September to 02 September 2026
WHERE: Lower Road, Mackworth approx. 165m west of Gold Lane for approx. 80m.
REASON: To facilitate replacement of telegraph pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lower Road, Church Lane, Ashbourne Road, Jarveys Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
