NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dog Kennel Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with South Cottage Drive north westwards for a distance of approximately 47m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Dog Kennel Lane, Berry Lane, Valley Road, The Clump and A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chorleywood Road).
The Order is needed because water connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 27 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Old Trowley, Abbots Langley from its junction with Tibbs Hill Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 90m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because gas works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via The Green, A412 Watford Road, Baldwins Lane and The Green.
The Order is needed because sewer pipe repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS
AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH IN OXHEY HALL AND WATFORD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and public footpath (“the Public Footpath”) will be:-
- To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads, whilst works are in progress:-
a) that length of The Pathway, Oxhey Hall from its junction with Anthony Close north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
b) the service road fronting Nos.15-24 Anthony Close, Oxhey Hall from its westernmost junction with Anthony Close clockwise for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Anthony Close.
- To prohibit all pedestrians from using Watford Rural Public Footpath No.005 from its junction with Watford Rural Public Footpath No.006 north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 124m.
An alternative route will be via Watford Rural Public Footpath No.006, the footpath situated on the south east side of Watford Heath, the footway situated on the north east side of Oxhey Road, the footway situated on the east side of Green Lane and the footway situated on the north side of Anthony Close.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads and Public Footpath.
The Order will come into effect on 24 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads and Public Footpath.

WATFORD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the A4008 Bushey Arches roundabout, Watford from its junction with A4008 Pinner Road clockwise to its junction with A4125 Eastbury Road, a distance of approximately 22m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A411 Chalk Hill, A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane), A410 Uxbridge Road, A404 (Uxbridge Road/Pinner Green/Pinner Road/Rickmansworth Road), A4125 (High Street/Church Road), B469 Green Lane and A4125 (Watford Road/Sandy Lane/Hampermill Lane/Eastbury Road).
The Order is needed because repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-
- that length of Gallows Hill Lane, Abbots Langley from a point 18m south west of its junction with Hazelwood Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 36m.
An alternative route will be via Gallows Hill Lane, Gallows Hill, Hamilton Road, Hunton Bridge Hill, South Way, Langley Way, Tibbs Hill Road, High Street and Gallows Hill Lane.
- that length of Hazelwood Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Gallows Hill Lane south eastwards a distance of approximately 36m.
An alternative route will be via Gallows Hill Lane, Gallows Hill, Hamilton Road and Hazelwood Lane.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodside Road, Abbots Langley from its junction with High Elms Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 323m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Woodside Road, Chequers Lane, A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road), the M25 (junction 21A) roundabout, A405 (North Orbital Road/St Albans Road), Horseshoe Lane and Woodside Road.
The Order is needed because gas main works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 24 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 4 weeks to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road situated on the north west side of A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford from its southernmost junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 26m (“the Road”).
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-
- that length of School Lane, Bushey from its junction with A411 Sparrows Herne south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 39m.
An alternative route will be via A411 Sparrows Herne, Merry Hill Road and School Lane.
- that length of Chestnut Rise, Bushey from its junction with School Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 15m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
- To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Heronsgate Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Rendlesham Way, a distance of approximately 390m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Heronsgate Road, Shire Lane, Hillside Road and Quickley Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
- To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath fronting Nos.94-132 Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its northernmost junction with Quickley Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 173m (“the Footpath”).
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footpath (“the Footpaths”):-
- the footpath situated between No.31 and No.33 Blackthorn Close, Watford from its junction with Blackthorn Close south westwards to its junction with Weal Green, a distance of approximately 63m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south side of Blackthorn Close, the footway situated on the west side of Louvain Way and the footway situated on the north side of Weal Green.
- the footpath situated on the south east side of No.179 Horseshoe Lane, Watford from its junction with Horseshoe Lane south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Poplars Close, a distance of approximately 88m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south west side of Horseshoe Lane, the footway situated on the east and north east sides of Louvain Way and the footway situated on the north west side of Poplars Close.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpaths.
