(SUMMER LANE, NORTHLEW)
ORDER 2026 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.
From 14/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 23/9/26.
Between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: SUMMER LANE, NORTHLEW, FROM JUNCTION OF ROCKEY LANE TO JUST BEFORE PARK VIEW.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - RD FROM EASTCOMBE CROSS TO DURDON CROSS, RD FROM LAMBERT CROSS TO DURDON CROSS, RD FROM SOUTH YEO CROSS TO LAMBERT CROSS, VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: TREE CUTTING, INSTALLATION OF AIRBAND POLES, OVERHEAD CABLING & SPLICING. For additional

than 30 miles per hour on the lengths of road below Roads affected: ROAD FROM SUMMERS MOOR CROSS TO SHORESGATE CROSS [A3124], ROAD FROM PARK FARM TO SHORESGATE CROSS & ROAD FROM COULSON CROSS TO SHORESGATE CROSS [A3124], BROADWOODKELLY & WINKLEIGH.
THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.
