We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Five Hills Lane, Middleton Tyas for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 10/08/26 & 14/08/26, due to works to excavate to clear multiple blockages. However, the max duration of this Order is until 10/11/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpath 10.36/1/1 & 10.161/7/1 in the Parish of Dalton & Topcliffe between grid references SE43077715 & SE43107844 due to bridge failure on the routes has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 11/08/27 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath, 10.110/6/1 in the Parish of Northallerton between grid references SE36549417 & SE36449420 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 10/08/26 & 19/01/27, due to weak bridge decking. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, B6271 Bolton Road, Scorton, Amendment No 38, Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that on 31/07/26 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Richmondshire) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the Schedule below:-
Schedule - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking
Scorton B6271 Bolton Road, from a point 1.5 metres south of the south side of the vehicular access to Bolton On Swale St Mary’s Church of England Primary School for a distance of 46 metres in a southerly direction along the lay by on the east side of the carriageway – Nature of Restriction: Waiting in the layby only restricted to a maximum of 30 minutes with no return allowed within 30 minutes. The restriction will apply between 8:00 am & 9:00 am & also between 3:00 pm & 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
A copy of the Order, which comes into force on 10/08/26, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Richmond Library, 10A Queens Road, Richmond, DL10 4AE during normal office hours from 07/08/26 to 11/09/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 31/07/26 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
