Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 1af Medi 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 14 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 30ain Hydref 2026.
NOTICE OF INTENTION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION
14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
(LÔN PRESWYLFA, TRAETH COCH) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Lôn Preswylfa, Traeth Coch.
The Order is necessary to enable to rise a main installation.
The alternative route will be from the south eastern side of the closure. Travel in a northerly direction along the A5025 to the junction with Traeth Coch and turn right.
Then travel in a south easterly direction to the junction by Bryn Tirion and the opposite end of the road closure. Vice versa for traffic travelling from the opposite direction.
The Order comes into effect on 1st September, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 14 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is aniticipated that the works will be completed on 30th October 2026.
