SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) 

ROAD PAST HILLHEAD COTTAGE, LANE TO LARKBEARE FARM & ROAD PAST WILLENS COTTAGE, MAMHEAD/KENTON) ORDER 2026
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order.
From 7/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 18/9/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: ROAD PAST HILLHEAD COTTAGE, LANE TO LARKBEARE FARM & ROAD PAST WILLENS COTTAGE, MAMHEAD / KENTON.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD PAST HILLHEAD COTTAGE, ROAD FROM PITT COTTAGE TO FIVE LANES CROSS, ROAD PAST SYRED GARDEN NURSERY, ROAD FROM HENSFORD ROAD TO PORT ROAD, ROAD FROM BLACK FOREST LODGE TO HENSFORD COTTAGES, ROAD FROM MAMHEAD GRANGE CROSS TO BASKET LODGE
CROSS & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PATCHING & DRAINAGE.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections
of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: BEECH ROAD, LEE MILL.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - CADLEIGH LANE. WOODLAND ROAD, CORNWOOD ROAD, B3213, A38 WEST TO LEE MILL, PLYMOUTH ROAD, BEECH ROAD & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: RECONSTRUCTION & RESURFACING OF THE CARRIAGEWAY. USUAL TIMINGS FOR THESE NIGHTWORKS WILL BE 23:00 - 06:00 EACH
NIGHT APART FROM THE FIRST SUNDAY WHEN THE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED EARLIER AT 17:00.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD FROM BROWNSWELL COTTAGE TO GIBB COTTAGES, ROAD PAST GARDEN CLOSE, BRENT HILL & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: INSTALLATION OF SEWER.
