What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Wellington Horse Trials to take place out on or near the road.  
ONE-WAY SUSPENSION: To impose a one-way road on the following road: Malthouse Lane between its junction with Basingstoke Road and its junction with Bar Lane. Traffic will only be permitted to travel Northbound.  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3349, The Causeway, A33.  
DURATION OF ORDER: from Friday 28th August 2026 between the hours 06:30 – 18:30 for 4 days or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.
The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Wellington Horse Trials.
