The Nottinghamshire County Council is the Highway Authority for the above highways and intends to apply to the Nottinghamshire Magistrates' Court sitting at Nottingham Magistrates' Court, Carrington Street, Nottingham, NG2 1EE at 10am on Wednesday, 16th September 2026, for an Order authorising the stopping up of the area of highway that is hatched blue on the deposited plan on the basis that such area is unnecessary as highway.
A copy of the draft Order and Plan may be inspected free of charge by prior appointment only from 11th August 2026 to 16th September 2026, inclusive (excluding bank holidays and public holidays) at County Hall, West Bridgford, NOTTINGHAM, NG2 7QP between the hours of 9am and 5pm. An appointment may be made by e-mailing charlotte.lockwood@nottscc.gov.uk or by calling 0115 977 4308.
Any person to whom notice is required to be given, any person who uses the said highway, and any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order has a right to appear before and be heard by the Magistrates' Court. Any person intending to exercise that right is requested to inform the undersigned in writing to the address below or via charlotte.lockwood@nottscc.gov.uk quoting reference CL/046586.
