THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (BRAMHALL LANE, DAVENPORT) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (BUSINESS PERMIT PARKING PLACES) (REVOCATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has on 13 August 2026 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 which came into operation on 13 August 2026 The effect of the Order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time at Bramhall Lane Turning Head to the north west of Devonshire Park Road - North side - from its intersection with the projected eastern kerbline of Bramhall Lane in a north easterly direction for a distance of 16.5 metres. Bramhall Lane Turning Head to the north west of Devonshire Park Road - South east side - from its intersection with the projected eastern kerbline of Bramhall Lane in a north easterly direction for a distance of 20 metres. Business Permit Holder Parking Bay at Bramhall Lane Turning Head to the north west of Devonshire Park Road -North east side -for its full length. Revoke No Waiting at Any Time: Bramhall Lane Turning Head to the north west of Devonshire Park Road - North side, south east side and east side for the entire lengths.
A copy of the Order and map may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or the Road Traffic Act 1991, or that a requirement of the Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
