MINOR PARKING AMENDMENTS

VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 5 August 2026 made the following Orders under section 6, 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 673) Order 202.

• The Wandsworth (Southfields) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2026

1. The general effect of the Orders is to: -

(a) Elsenham Street – Zone S2 permit bay – to convert 4.7 metres of single yellow line into an S2 Permit Holder Only bay;

(b) Bevill Allen Close – introduction of double yellow lines – to upgrade the existing single yellow lines to no waiting ‘At Any Time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) in order to deter obstructive parking in the Close.

(c) Ravenna Road – Double Yellow Line Waiting Restrictions - to upgrade the existing single yellow lines to no waiting ‘At Any Time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) in order to protect dropped kerb access at 13b and 13a Ravenna Road.

(d) Sutherland Grove – Double Yellow Line Waiting Restriction - to change an existing six-metre length of single yellow line to no waiting ‘At Any Time’ (double yellow lines) to alleviate congestion and improve traffic flow on Augustus Road.

(e) College Gardens / St Hughes Close– Double Yellow Line Waiting Restrictions - to introduce no waiting ‘At Any Time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) in order to protect driveway access and deter obstructive parking at junctions.

1. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, which will come into operation on 9 August 2026 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
   1. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for that reason to the High Court.

   MINOR PARKING AMENDMENT

   MAGDALEN ROAD, SW18

   1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Order under section 6. 45 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

   • The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common & Tooting Bec) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202

   1. The general effect of the Order is to remove the parking bay on the south-eastern side of Magdalen Road, outside No. 127 and replace with a single yellow line operating 10am to 11am on Mondays to Fridays inclusive

   2. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.
      1. Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 28 days of the date of this Notice

      ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

      TEMPORARY CLOSURE – ELCHO STREET SW11

      1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Elcho Street to facilitate Falcon Tower Crane Operation.

      2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Elcho Street from the junction with Parkgate Road to the junction with Hester Road for the duration of the works. Both footways will be closed, and a pedestrian diversion will be in place, access will be maintained. In addition, no vehicle will enter or exit Howie Street at its junction with Elcho Street. There will be no waiting 05:00 - 20:00.

      3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

      4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

      5. The order will come into operation on 22 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 27 September 2026.

      ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

      TEMPORARY CLOSURE – BICKERSTETH ROAD SW17

      1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Bickersteth Road to facilitate EE Mobile Telecoms works

      2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Bickersteth Road outside No’s 120-124. The eastern and western footways will also be closed for the duration of the works. Weekend work schedule as follows:-

         TEMPORARY CLOSURE – GLENBURNIE ROAD SW17

         1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Glenburnie Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

         2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Glenburnie Road from outside number 2 to the junction with Trinity Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

         3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

         5. The order will come into operation on 11 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 13 August 2026.

         TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC –

         SOUTHCROFT ROAD SW17

         1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Southcroft Road to facilitate Uk Power Networks works.

         2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary parking restrictions will be introduced along Southcroft Road from outside 51 to outside 97on both sides of the road. There will be no waiting at any time.

         3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

         5. The order will come into operation on 13 August 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 28 August 2026.

         TEMPORARY CLOSURE – SUMMERSTOWN SW17

         1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Summerstown to facilitate the Removal of a Tower Crane.

         2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Summerstown 46-76 - (Higgins construction site). The footway alongside the site will also be closed. There will be no waiting from Saturday 15/08/26 from 05:30 hours - Sunday 16/08/26 19:00 hours.
