LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(VARIOUS ROADS) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate works to be carried out in the roads shown in columns 1 and 2 of the Schedules to this notice in connection with carriageway resurfacing works in those roads in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions in a section of the above-named road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs or suspension signs are displayed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed, stop, wait, load or unload in the sections of roads as set out in columns 1 and 2 of Schedule 1 to this notice.

3. Alternative routes for diverted traffic would be available as shown in column 4 of Schedule 1 to this notice.

4. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order will come into operation on the 20th August 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works will be expected to commence on Thursday 20th August 2026 and last to the 30th October 2026. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
