(TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF LOADING BAY)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that to improve highway accessibility, it intends to make an order to temporarily introduce loading restrictions detailed in point 2 of this order on Winchester Square, between Clink Street and Cathedral Street at the location described in point 2 of this order.
2. The effect of the order is to introduce an At Any Time, Monday to Sunday loading bay, on the eastern side of the carriageway, beginning 7 metres from the junction with Clink Street towards Cathedral Street for a distance of 10 metres.
3. When road markings and signs are in place, no person shall cause any vehicle to park in the loading bay described in point 2 of this order.
4. No person shall cause any vehicle to wait in the loading bay except for the purpose of continuous loading or unloading of goods.
5. This temporary traffic order will be in force from the 28th of August 2026.
6. This order would remain valid for 18 months until the 27th of February 2028. Further information may be obtained by contacting Network Management at ttmo@southwark.gov.uk
