Wembley - Temporary Traffic Prohibitions Due To Trunk Main Installation Works

What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (As Amended) Harrow Road Wembley Area (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2026

The Council of The London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate a trunk main installation on Harrow Road and associated works in Harrow Road Wembley Area, they have made an Order.

The effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in those lengths of:-
(a) Church Gardens, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb-line;

(b) Elms Park Avenue, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres south-west of that kerb line;

(c) Medway Gardens, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres south-west of that kerb line;

(d) Priory Gardens, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb line;

(e) Priory Hill, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb line;

(f) Priory Park Road, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres south-west of that kerb line;

(g) St Andrews Avenue, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb line;

(h) The unnamed road leading to Nos. 1 to 12 St Francis Lodge, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb line;

(i) Sudbury Croft, Priory Avenue, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb line;

(j) Sudbury Hill Close, which lies between the north-eastern kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres north-east of that kerb line;

(k) Thomas A Beckett Close, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Harrow Road and a point 15.00 metres south-west of that kerb line,

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) to (k) above will apply between 10th August 2026 and 4th February 2027 inclusive or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) to (k) inclusive above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
