(Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) - (Amendment No.82) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce a No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the East and West sides of Potter Street, Harlow between number 55 and Pinewood Close.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing title numbers TL470 090 revision 1 with revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 24th August 2026.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) - (Amendment No.88) Order 2022*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order:
1. To Remove – ‘No Stopping at Any Time Except Buses’ Restriction on Maddox Road North Side – From a point approximately 15 metres east of its eastern junction with Long Ley, eastwards for approximately 23 metres.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Chalk Lane, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 90m southeast of its junction with Matching Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Russell Road, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction.

To temporarily close that length of Fairfield Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with The Borough to its junction with Turners Close a distance of approximately 60m. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of York Hill, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Kings Hill for a distance of approximately 150m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Potters Close, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with York Hill for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hills Road to its junction with Boleyn Court a distance of approximately 105m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2026 for 1 night (1900-0400), or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000016900 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bollard installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Oak Lodge Avenue, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Manor Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of The Hides, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 195m southwest of the junction with Maddox Road for a distance of approximately 285m in a north westerly, south westerly then south easterly direction. (Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.10) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30th July 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network.
This road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
