Kendal - Proposed Variation of Off-Street Parking Places Order

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL

THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (COUNTY HALL, KENDAL) (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (ORDER 2020) VARIATION (NO.1) 2026

1. Westmorland and Furness Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Sections 32(1), 33(1), 33(2), 33(3) and 33(7), 34, 35, 35A, and 35C, and 39 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the 1984 Act).

2. The effect of the proposed Order will be to remove the Areas (shown edged on red on the plan) from the following Schedules: -

i) 1, 2 and 4 from Schedule 3 (off street pay and display parking places – County Hall Car Park, Kendal).

ii) 1 and 2 from Schedule 4 (off street parking places for permit holders only).

iii) 1, 2 and 4 from Schedule 5 (off street parking places for disabled blue badge holders only).

iv) 1, 2 and 4 from Schedule 6 (off street pay and display and pay by phone charges).

3. Full details of the proposed Order, together with plans showing the areas concerned, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be: -
