Barnet - Changes To Disabled Parking Bays & Parking Restrictions
What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) - (Amendment No.*) Order 20** - The Barnet (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.*) Order 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of The London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
In order to provide a parking facility to disabled blue badge holders who meet qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders would be to provide designated disabled parking bays for use by motorists in their vehicles who display both a valid disabled blue badge and a dedicated disabled permit which would be applicable to each bay, outside the following locations:
Evergreen Court, Kingsgate Avenue N3, 26 Crispin Road HA8 (by converting an area of permit holders only parking), Hillview House, Albert Road NW4, 30 Denison Close N2, 40 Brookside Road NW11 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), Violet Court, Heybourne Crescent NW9 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 76 Brent Park Road NW4 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 94 Fallow Court Avenue N12, 241 Deansbrook Road HA8 (by converting a length of payment parking bay), 32 Brookfield Avenue NW7 (by converting an area of permit holders only parking), 10 Kings Close NW4, 77 Brookside EN4, 19 Colin Drive NW9, 1 Dalmeny Road EN5, and 10 Mostyn Road HA8 (by converting an area of permit holders only parking).
The proposed Order would also provide a designated disabled parking bay on Buckingham Avenue N20, adjacent to 1458 to 1468 High Road N20.
The existing designated disabled permit holder parking bay outside 16 Holmwood Gardens N3, would also be extended northwards by 1.2metres.
The general effect of the above Orders would also be to remove redundant disabled permit holder only parking bays outside: 2 Park Avenue N3 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday), 5 Rowsley Avenue NW4 (to be converted to permit holders only parking 1pm to 6pm on event days), 14 Bertram Road NW4 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking 10am to 11am Monday to Friday), 21 East Crescent N11, 22 Falkland Avenue N11, 28 Greenhalgh Walk N2 (to be converted to permit holders only parking 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday), 34 Milespit Hill NW7 (to be converted to permit holders only parking 1pm to 6pm on event days), 39 Leicester Road N3 (to be converted to permit holders only parking 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday), 43 Albert Road NW4, and 4 Colindale Avenue NW9 (to be converted to resident permit holders only parking 8am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday).
