Brent - Temporary Traffic Prohibition Due To Speed Cushion Repairs

What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (As Amended) - Chapter Road, Deacon Road And Villiers Road (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 202*

The Council of The London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate implementation of a highway scheme to repair speed cushions and associated works in Chapter Road, Deacon Road and Villiers Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in those lengths of:-
(a) Chapter Road, which lies between the south-eastern kerb line of Buxton Road and the south-western kerb line of Balmoral Road;

(b) Deacon Road, which lies between the south-eastern kerb-line of Chapter Road and the north-western kerb line of Belton Road;

(c) Villiers Road, which lies between the north-eastern kerb-line of Dudden Hill Lane and the south-western kerb line of High Road, Willesden,

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred in (a) to (c) inclusive above would apply from 31st August 2026 to 28th September 2026 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Chapter Road, Deacon Road and Villiers Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) to (c) inclusive above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
