Manchester City Council proposes to make the CITY OF MANCHESTER (PINK BANK LANE, LONGSIGHT) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING/LOADING/UNLOADING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:
NO WAITING AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM-9.30AM AND 2.30PM-4PM:
Pink Bank Lane, (i) north-east side from 167m south-east of Kirkmanshulme Lane south-easterly to a point 17.5m north of Stanley Grove, (ii) north-east side from 77m south-east of Kirmanshulme Lane south-easterly to a point 157m south-east of Kirkmanshulme Lane, (iii) north-east side from 15m south-east of Kirkmanshulme Lane southeasterly to 52m south-east of Kirmanshulme Lane, (iv) south-west side from 20m south-east of Kirkmanshulme Lane southerly to 17.5m north of Stanley Grove.
An existing Order will be amended to be consistent with the proposals. A copy of the proposed Order, the Order it is proposed to amend, a Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person by appointment at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm. Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester. gov.uk or to the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 4th September 2026.
