Derby City Council has made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ALLESTREE LANE, DERBY
WHEN: 08 August 2026 to 12 August 2026 WHERE: Allestree Lane, at its junction with Kedleston Road. REASON: Major gas works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Allestree Lane – Blenheim Drive –Birchover Way – Kedleston Road and Kedleston Road – Askerfield Avenue – Blenheim Drive – Allestree Lane (and the same in the opposite direction).

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE BUS LANE ORDER ON UTTOXETER NEW ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 10 August 2026 to 21 August 2026 WHERE: Uttoxeter New Road, suspend the entire Bus Lane either side of its junction with Great Northern Road. REASON: S278 Development works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A.
