TEMPORARY CLOSURE C231 CLAPTON ROAD (BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C231 Clapton Road from outside the property known as ‘Park Gate Cottage’ to its junction with Ham to Pedington Elm for a distance of approximately 1215 metres.
The reason for the closure is for mains renewal works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 07:30hrs on 10th August 2026 until 5:00hrs on 6th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401586 Box Road Avenue from outside the property known as ‘No. 2’ to outside of the property known as ‘No. 6’ for a distance of approximately 12 metres.
The reason for the closure is for repair works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 12th August 2026 until 14th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401579 The Cedars Road from its junction with Coombe Road to its junction with Valley Road for a distance of approximately 80 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 11th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C234 Road from the A38 Road to The Yews from outside the property known as ‘Old Court Farm’ to its junction with Court Mead for a distance of approximately 219 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works to replace a telecommunication pole.
The said road is expected to be closed from 11th August 2026 until 13th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intends to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C259 The Street from outside of the property known as ‘No.5 The Street’ to outside of the property known as ‘No.7 The Street’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of the national grid.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00 hours on the 25th August 2026 to 16:00 hours on the 28th August 2026 However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for broadband and telecommunication works.
The road is expected to be closed from 24th August 2026 until 27th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C358 Station Road, in a southwards direction approximately 460 metres before the Berkeley bypass, for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for bridge inspection works by Network Rail.
The road is expected to be closed from 22:00hrs on 24th August 2026 until 06:00hrs on 25th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
