Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath KP-517, 518 and 520, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close Footpath KP-517 & 518 from Taylor’s Lane to Broomhall Lane and KP-520 from A38 Bath Road to the junction of the Footpaths KP-517 and 518.

The Order has been made due to plant and vehicle movement for Archaeological investigation works.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 31 August 2026.

Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2026 (Disabled Person’s Parking Space on Victoria Avenue, Worcester)

On 23 July 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person’s parking space on the following length and side of road in Worcester:

Victoria Avenue (east side): from a point 96.7 metres south east of its junction with Albert Road for a distance of 6 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 13 August 2026.
