Proposed Order: To close that part of A456 Kidderminster Rd from its junction with U20460 Ferndale Cl to its junction with U20421 Worcester Rd Service Rd.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Kidderminster Rd (part), A456 Hagley Roundabout, A491 Stourbridge Rd, A491 Sandy Ln, A38 Lydiate Ash Roundabout, A38 Halesowen Rd, A38 Birmingham Rd, A38 Lickey End Roundabout, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A448 Stratford Rd, A448 The Strand, A448 Market St, A448 Kidderminster Rd, A450 Worcester Rd, A456 Worcester Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00-05:00) between 1 September 2026 and 11 September 2026
