Proposed Order: To close that part of A456 Coventry St from its junction with A456 Coventry St Roundabout to its junction with C2190 Radford Ave.

Reason: Replace manhole cover by STW.

Alternative route: A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A449 Chester Rd North, A456 Birmingham Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (22:00-05:00) Commencing: 3 September 2026

(C2195 Heightington Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2195 Heightington Rd from its junction with Park End (Private Rd) for a distance of 200 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Utility Work by BT.

Alternative route: C2195 Heightington Rd (part), U10011 Wylde Ln, C2021 Dunley Rd, C2021 Dunley, A451 Dunley, B4194 Ribbesford Rd, B4194 Red Hill, C2195 Leight Ln, C2195 Heightington Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 10 August 2026

(U12148 Green Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure)

(One-Way Traffic) Order 2001 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U12148 Green St from its junction with U12181 Pump St to its junction with A451 The Ringway and to temporarily suspend Worcestershire County Council (Green Street, Kidderminster) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2001 to allow two-way traffic on U12148 Green St to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Remedial Works by STW.

Alternative route: U12150 Dixon St, U12135 Castle Rd, U12145 Park Ln, A451 Stourport Rd, A451 The Ringway Roundabout.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 11 August 2026

Order made: To close that part of U13605 Woodrow Ln from its junction with C2017 Briar Hill to its junction with C2186 The Holloway.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: C2185 Woodrow Ln, A450 Worcester Rd, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, C2017 The Village, C2017 Briar Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days Commencing: 9 August 2026

(B4188 Belbroughton Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of B4188 Belbroughton Rd from its junction with A456 Birmingham Rd for a distance of 100 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent.

Alternative route: A456 Birmingham Rd, A456 Kidderminster Rd South, A450 Worcester Rd, B4188 Belbroughton Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs) Commencing: 10 August 2026

(U11526 Tan Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U11526 Tan Ln from its junction with U11527 Vernon Rd to its junction with B4195 Lombard St.

Reason: Remedial utility work by STW.

Alternative route: B4195 Lombard St, B4195 Bewdley Rd, U11527 Vernon Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 10 August 2026

(C2141 Chadwick Lane, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2141 Chadwick Ln from its junction with B4193 Stourport Rd to its junction with U40021 Parsons Ln.

Reason: Lay new ducting by Grub Construction LTD.

Alternative route: B4193 Stourport Rd, C2028 Quarry Bank, C2028 Waresley Rd, C2030 Old Worcester Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Ln, A4025 Stourport Rd, C2141 Chadwick Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 10 August 2026

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Person’s Parking Space on George Street, Kidderminster]

On 23 July 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person’s parking space on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster: -

George Street: from a point 82 metres north east of its junction with Cherry Orchard for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 13 August 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
