NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER

THE EAST STAFFORDSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO. 52, LAND TO THE WEST OF UTTOXETER A50 BYPASS, IN THE PARISH OF UTTOXETER TOWN) PUBLIC FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER 2019

On 7th August 2026 East Staffordshire Borough Council confirmed the above order.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath commencing from Point A (co-ordinates SK07443453) at its junction with Tunnicliffe Way, continuing in a west of south westerly direction for 3 metres to Point B (co-ordinates SK07433453), continuing in a south westerly direction for 19 metres to Point C (co-ordinates SK0743452), continuing in a west of south westerly direction for 185 metres to Point D (coordinates SK07253445), continuing in a south of south westerly direction for 71 metres to Point E (co-ordinates SK07233438) connecting with the existing route of Public Footpath No. 52 Uttoxeter Town, to a line running from: Point A (co-ordinates SK07443453) at its junction with Tunnicliffe Way, continuing in a southerly direction for 4 metres to Point F (co-ordinates SK7443453), continuing in a south westerly direction for 256 metres to Point G (co-ordinates SK07293442) connecting with the existing route of Public Footpath No. 52 Uttoxeter Town at Point E (co-ordinates SK07233438).

A copy of the confirmed order and the order map can be seen free of charge by contacting LegalandAssets@ eaststaffsbc.gov.uk and then visiting the Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB, by appointment between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

This order comes into force on the date on which East Staffordshire Borough Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 and 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
