Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) UC 326402 (Part), Shalbourne; from its property known as Upper Westcott for a distance of approximately 42m in a northerly direction to enable Thames Water Utilities to carry out wash out, install and other associated works. Alternative route via A338 vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 31 August 2026 and the closure will be required for 3 days. B) C15 (Part), Clyffe Pypard; from its property known as White Horse View for a distance of approximately 200m in a north easterly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out overhead cabling works and other associated works. Alternative route via C415 – C121 – C120 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:30 and 18:00 for 1 day. C) C146 (Part), Baydon; from a point approximately 150m west of its junction with C189 for a distance of approximately 62m in a westerly direction to enable Thames Water Utilities to carry out chamber and cover exchange. This Order will come into operation on 01 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 3 days. This Order will come into operation on 01 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 for 1 day. This Order will come into operation on 02 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. N) C74 (Part), Great Bedwyn; from its junction with Galley Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction to enable Thames Water Utilities Limited to carry out excavate, install pressure reducing valve and strainer on a bypass off an 8” main – backfill and reinstate. Alternative route via C74 (unaffected length) – UC 286101 – C204 – C30 – C74 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 02 June 2025 will now recommence on 10 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 17:00 for 5 days. X) C33 (Part), Hullavington; from its junction with C1 to its junction with Mere Avenue to enable Bradwells Construction to carry out S278 works – tarmac site entrance, install road ducts and streetlight columns. This Order which previously came into operation on 30 March 2026 will now recommence on 10 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 17 August 2026. Orders A) to V) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Orders W) and X) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 9 (Part), Woodborough; from its junction with Woodborough Road to its property known as Silverton Cottage to enable flood prevention – line damaged sections of public sewer to prevent groundwater infiltration. Alternative route Footpath 9, Woodborough (unaffected length) – Chapel Lane – Footpath 11, Woodborough – Woodborough Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 01 September 2026 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 04 September 2026. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
