(TEMPORARY ONE WAY, CLEARWAY & PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER No.3 AUGUST 2026

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles from proceeding in the lengths of carriageway specified in schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the direction specified in Schedule 2.

STEPHENSON AVENUE, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with Cavendish Road to its junction with Fleming Road.(Tuesday 18 August 2026 to Friday 28 August 2026).
Reason for Order: Resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: National Grid.
South easterly
A454 THE KEYWAY that is situated from its junction with B4464 Somerford Place to its junction with Armstrong Way. (Sunday 16 August 2026, 07:00 -16:00).
Reason for Order: Surface dressing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.
North westerly

And, prevent any vehicles proceeding in the lengths of:
 CAVENDISH ROAD, BLOXWICH that is situated at its junction with Stephenson Avenue.

 STEPHENSON AVENUE ACCESS ROAD, BLOXWICH situated between the grass verge opposite 244 Stephenson Avenue.
(Tuesday 18 August 2026 to Friday 28 August 2026).
Reason for Order: Resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: National Grid.

 BROADWATERS ROAD, DARLASTON in its entirety. (Monday 31 August 2026 to Sunday 4 October 2026)
Reason for Order: Mains renewal.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.

 LINCOLN AVENUE, WILLENHALL that is situated between property numbers 20 and 22. (Thursday 27 August 2026, 09:00 – 15:30)
Reason for Order: Pole works.
Works on behalf of: Openreach.
And, prevent any vehicles proceeding or stopping in the lengths of:

 BUXTON ROAD, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with Sanstone Road to its junction with Stoney Lane.

 SANSTONE ROAD, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with Buxton Road to its junction with Stoney Lane.

 STONEY LANE, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with A34 Stafford Road to its junction with Sanstone Road.

 STONEY LANE, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with Buxton Road to its junction with A4124 Lichfield Road.
(Monday 24 August 2026 and Tuesday 1 September 2026, 08:00 - 16:00 only)
Reason for Order: Surface dressing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.

This ORDER will come into operation on Sunday 16 August 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic.
The Order will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
