(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE)  ORDER 2026

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of Cardenden Rd (from B981 to Carden Ave); and prohibiting the use by pedestrians of the footpath at Carden Castle Pk (from Hyndloup Terr to Carden Castle Pk.

The Order is to allow rail bridge works to be carried out in safety and will be operational  from 17/08/26 to 18/12/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via Cardenden Rd and B981. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents’ vehicles and pedestrians will be  via the diversion route.
