(Footpath 47 (Little Hyde Lane) Ingatestone & Fryerning) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath (Little Hyde Lane) Ingatestone & Fryerning in the Borough of Brentwood, from the top of the ramp at the north side of the underpass from the A12 Northwest for approximately 30 metres

The closure is scheduled to commence on 17 August 2026 to 31 August 2026 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the installation of a temporary crossover and new water connection takes place.

Alternative route: will be provided on the carriageway.

The Order will come into effect on 17 August 2026 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath 143 and Brookfield Close, Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Further to notice: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), which commenced on 24 July 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

Effect of the order: To temporary close Footpath 143 and Brookfield Close, in the Borough of Brentwood, as specified below.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 29 July 2026 to 29 January 2027 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new development is constructed.

Alternative route: Hanging Hill Lane, Hutton Drive, Brookfield Close and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 29 July 2026 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Crescent Road, Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 20265

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crescent Road, Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approxiately 65m south west of its junction with Warley Hill for a distance of approximately 45m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30019297806 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Crescent Road, Warley Hill, Kings Road, High Street, London Road, Kavanaghs Road, Crescent Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Eastham Crescent, Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Eastham Crescent, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Knights Way to its junction with The Broadwalk South a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2411885 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Knights Way, Vernon Crescent, Eastham Crescent and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th August 2026 and may 
continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hall Green Lane, Hutton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Hanging Hall Lane, Hutton) (Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Hall Green Lane, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point 80m south east of its junction with Kingsley Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5t weight restriction in that length of Hanging Hall Lane from its junction with Hall Green Lane to its junction with Park Avenue, as detailed in ‘Brentwood Borough Council (7.5 Tonnes Weight Restriction) Order 1994’ for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 3rd September 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WH1GW75H – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Hall Green Lane, Kingsley Road, Byron Road, Shelley Road and vice versa or Hall Green Lane, Hanging Hall Lane, Park Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chivers Road, Stondon Massey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chivers Road, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 345m north east of its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WH1GLJ1P – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Chivers Road, Ongar Road, Tipps Cross Lane, Hook End Lane, Hook End Road, Blackmore Road, School Road, Chivers Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 135m south west of its junction with Church Close for a distance of approximately 535m in a south westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC00820AUGEAYPF752 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Ongar Road, Kelvedon Hall Lane, Kelvedon Hall Road and vice versa

The Order came into effect on 29th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Lane, Stondon Massey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410282713 – Affinity Water Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, The Street, Chelmsford Road, High Ongar Road Straightening, High Ongar Road, Four Wantz Roundabout, High Street, Coopers Hill, Brentwood Road, Stondon Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 29th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pine Drive, Ingatestone) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pine Drive, Ingatestone in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 45m north west of its junction with Pine Close for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001513370 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas. An alternative route is available via High Street, Park Drive, Pine Close and vice versa (with access only into Pine Drive). The Order came into effect on 29th July 2026 and may continue in force for 12 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wyatts Green Road, Doddinghurst) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wyatts Green Road, Doddinghurst in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Thoby Lane for a distance of approximately 215m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WGSFJ07XSB – Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Mountnessing Road, Ingatestone Road, The Green, Nine Ashes Road, Ongar Road, Tipps Cross Lane, Hook End Lane, Hook End Road, Mill Lane, Wyatts Green Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 29th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
