THE A1(M) JUNCTION 45
(LEEDS FESTIVAL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A1(M) Motorway, in the County of West Yorkshire, for the purpose of facilitating the Leeds Festival event.
The Order starts at 4am and ends at 6pm on Monday 31 August 2026, continuing as necessary to facilitate the event.
The effect of the Order will be to close the:
(i) A1(M) northbound exit slip road at Junction 45. During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said event or for traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 30 August 2026 and will remain in force for as long as is necessary to facilitate the event.
