PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257

THE WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL PUBLIC PATH EG4 IN THE PARISH OF CANONS ASHBY DIVERSION ORDER 2026

The above order was made on 28th July 2026. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath running from A to C and create an alternative footpath instead on a line running from A to B to C as shown on the Order Map.

A copy of the confirmed order & the order map may be seen at https://wnc.planning-register.co.uk/Planning/Display/2025/4046/FPATH or at the offices of the West Northamptonshire Council at One Angel Square, Angel Street, Northampton NN1 1ED; at The Forum, Moat Lane, Towcester NN12 6AD; and at The Abbey, Market Square, Daventry NN11 4BH between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m. on normal working days. Copies of the Order and map may be bought by emailing planning@ westnorthants.gov.uk at the price of £5.00 + VAT.

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Bob Ham, Senior Planning Officer (North), West Northamptonshire Council (bob.ham@westnorthants.gov.uk) not later than 8th September. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, West Northamptonshire Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.  Dated 28th July 2026.
