Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Codenham Straight, Kingswood in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Waldegrave to its junction with Langleys a distance of approximately 110m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2411495 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Waldegrave, Sparrows Herne, Langleys and vice versa.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harrow Road, North Benfleet in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Pound Lane to its end, a distance of approximately 780m. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Luckyn Lane, Pipps Hill Industrial in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Chester Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001516810 – Cadent Gas). (St Johns Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Johns Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Lynton Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGRTW75H – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Lynton Road, Fairlight Road, St Marks Road, St Johns Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 13th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) Order (No.5) 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

    1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Rochford, as specified in Schedule to this Order.

    1. To temporarily suspend the weight restriction in that length of Canewdon Road/Lark Hill Road/Lambourne Hall Road, Rochford from its junction with Ashingdon Road to its junction with Creeksea Road as detailed in the ‘Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) Weight Restriction Order 1991 for the duration of the closures only.

  1. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th August 2026. Exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clayburn Circle, Barstable in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 195m south then south east of the junction with Brownlow Bend for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30066885329 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodham Road, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 220m north east of its junction with Farm Crescent for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30049694448 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
