NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of John Street West from its junction with Tuel Lane to Chester Street for a distance of approximately 75 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Tuel Lane, Clay Street, Chester Street, Edward Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th August 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Croft Lane from Back Sowerby Croft to Scar Head Road/Watson Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 77 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Towngate from No. 50 to The White Lion for a distance of approximately 35 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road, Draper Lane, Smithwell Lane. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Ward and Burke Construction Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Roper Green from Crag Lane to Roper Gardens for a distance of approximately 82 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Crag Lane, Mixenden Road, Dodgeholme Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Prescott Street, Wellington Place, New Road.
