ILKLEY ROAD & SILSDEN ROAD, RIDDLESDEN
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecom works to be executed on or near Ilkley Road & Silsden Road, Riddlesden has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of the length of Ilkley Road from its junction with Silsden Lane to a point outside Upwood Hall Farm; and Silsden Road from its junction with Ilkley Road to the entrance to High Trees Barn.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available for Silsden Road via Silsden Road (unaffected section), Street Lane, Carr Lane, Swine Lane, Bradford Road, Hardings Road, A629, Keighley Road, Howden Road, Holden Lane and vice versa, however, there will be no alternative routes for Ilkley Road.
The Order comes into operation at 09:30 hours on the 17th of August 2026 and remains in force until 15:30 hours on the 17th of August 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
