ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

 (STATION ROAD, WELTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Station Road, Welton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of

Station Road, Welton from the junction of Crockwell Hill to High Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Ashby Road, A361, A425, Welton Lane and Crockwell Hill

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(WEST HADDON ROAD, WATFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of West Haddon Road, Watford as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of West Haddon Road, Watford from the junction of FF8 to FF12.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Lodge Lane, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Lodge Lane, Long Buckby from the junction of B5385 for 500 metres south.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works on water main.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 2 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Brington Road and B5385.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(VARIOUS ROADS, LONG BUCKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of the various roads in Long Buckby as specified in the Schedule below.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Market Place, King Street, West Street, Murcott, Long Buckby Road, Main Street, Station Road, A5 and A428.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stanford Road, Cold Ashby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stanford Road, Cold Ashby from the junction of West Haddon Road for 1400 metres west.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during cabling works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use West Haddon Road, Cold Ashby Road, Guilsborough Road, A428, Yelvertoft Road, Stanford Road, Clay Coton Road and Ashby Road.
