(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the B3026 Eton Wick Road from the Borough Boundary in an easterly direction, for a distance of approximately 15metres.
The diversion route for traffic affected by the Order is via the B3026 Common Road, the B3026 Village Road, the B3026 Lake End Road, the A4 Bath Road, the A4 Wellington Street, the A332 Windsor Road, B3022 Slough Road & the B3026 Eton Wick Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely Cattle Grid maintenance works and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours on Thursday 27 August 2026.
There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
