NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Woollard Lane/Priestdown Lane, Publow from its junction with Charlton Road extending south for approximately 1515 metres. USRN: 47920315/47903931.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out cabling works from the 10th August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 09:30 - 15:30hrs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Woollard Lane (remainder) – Publow Lane – Peats Hill – Publow Lane – High Street – A37 – Queen Charlton Lane – Woollard Lane – vice versa.
