(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Portlock Road from the northern boundary of No 43 Portlock Road southward to the southern boundary of No 53 Portlock Road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Portlock Road, St Marks Road, Powney Road, Penyston Road and Portlock Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate access to sewer basin, and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation from 22:00 hours on Wednesday 26 August until 05:00 hours on Thursday 27 August 2026. Temporary prohibition of driving will be in place when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
