Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
MAIDSTONE AREA
A20 Ashford Road, Broomfield (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow temporary two way lights to be implemented in conjunction with works on Broomfield Road, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily impose a mandatory 30 MPH speed limit on part of A20 Ashford Road, Broomfield, on or after 24th August 2026 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will have a temporary mandatory 30 MPH speed limit imposed. The current 60 MPH speed limit will be suspended in the vicinity of Broomfield Road for the duration of these works. Restrictions will be imposed to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
A229 Staplehurst Road, Marden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
