To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coopers Lane, Sellindge, on or after 28th August 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Wissenden, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow tree cutting to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Wall Road, West Hythe, on or after 25th August 2026 for up to 7 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside South View for approximately 220m in a Southeasterly direction, between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Wall Road, Donkey Street, Thorndike Road, Church Road, Tame Lane and vice versa.

The road will be closed outside Hamble Cottage, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wills Lane, Newchurch, on or after 12th August 2026 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside Wills Farm to the junction of Newchurch Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Newchurch Lane, From Newchurch To Junction With Newchurch Road Bilsington And Hony Wood Lane, Newchurch Road, Wills Lane and vice versa.

Various Roads, Folkestone (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, 20MPH & 40MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Various Roads, Folkestone, on or after 10th August 2026 for up to 78 days or until the works have been completed.
Restrictions will be imposed to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
A mandatory 20MPH speed limit will be imposed on part of B2068 Stone Street from the junction of B2068 Stanford Bypass for approximately 300m North of the junction of Pilgrims Way. The approaches and exits to this area will have a mandatory 40MPH speed limit imposed.
