NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 28th July 2026 has made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Orders will come into operation on 10th August 2026.

Extend the operating times of the Beckenham (BEC) Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) from Monday to Sunday 8:30am-8pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am-midnight which includes:

(a) Extending the existing times of the “No Waiting” restrictions operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-8pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am-midnight, as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice

(b) Extending the existing times of the on-street parking bays operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-8pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am-midnight, as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice

(c) Extending the existing times of the shared-use bays; permit holders and pay by phone 2-hour maximum stay, no return within 1-hour operating Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-8pm to Monday to Sunday 8:30am-midnight, as set out in Schedule 3 to this Notice

Copies of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date of making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of the provisions in the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1:-

NO WAITING RESTRICTIONS

Extend existing waiting restrictions operating Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8:30am-8:30pm to “No Waiting” Monday to Sunday between 8:30am-midnight

BEVINGTON ROAD, Beckenham, both sides, from a point 10m south of the southern kerbline of Manor Road southwest to its extremity.

BEVINGTON ROAD, Beckenham, from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Manor Road northwest to a point 15m south of the southern kerbline of Bromley Road.

BURNHILL ROAD, Beckenham, the north side, from a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 1 & 2 eastwards to the south-western kerbline of Kelsey Park Road.

BURNHILL ROAD, Beckenham, the south side, from the western flank wall of No. 1 eastwards to the south-western kerbline of Kelsey Park Road.

FAIRFIELD ROAD, Beckenham, both sides, from the northern kerbline of Burnhill Road northwards to the party wall of Nos. 8 & 10.

KELSEY PARK ROAD, Beckenham, the north-east side, from a point 6m northwest of the party wall of Nos. 11 & 13 south eastwards to its junction with Court Downs Road.

KELSEY PARK ROAD, Beckenham, the south-west side, from a point 3m north-west of the party wall of Nos. 4 & 6 south eastwards to the north-western kerbline of Manor Way.

LEA ROAD, Beckenham, both sides, in its entirety.

STANMORE TERRACE, Beckenham, the north-west side, from a point 3m north-east of the party wall of Nos. 1 & 2 south westwards to the northern kerbline of Burnhill Road.

STANMORE TERRACE, Beckenham, the south-east side, from a point 6m south-west of the south-western kerbline of Kelsey Park Road south westwards to the northwestern kerbline of Burnhill Road.

MANOR ROAD, Beckenham, both sides, from the eastern boundary of No. 71 High Street eastwards to a point 10m west of the western kerbline of Bevington Road.
