What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 03 August 2026, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Summer’s End Music Festival, Brechin) (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2026, under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, so that a relevant event may take place. The effect of the Order is to introduce various temporary; (1) prohibitions on driving; (2) prohibitions on waiting & loading; and (2) variations to speed limits, in and around Brechin. The order will be effective from 5pm on 14/08/26 until 1am on 17/08/26. The maximum permitted duration in terms of the act is 18 months. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. Alternative routes will be provided where driving is prohibited.
