PROPOSED PARKING CONTROLS

The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.*) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Order would be:

    1. To install no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions on the unnamed access road to Finsbury Park (Hornsey Gate):

      a) South side: from the southern side of the junction with the Endymion Road mini roundabout, heading in an easterly then southerly direction to the parking lay-by area/existing disabled parking bays (approximately 48 metres).

      b) North side: from the northern side of the junction with the Endymion Road mini roundabout, heading in an easterly then northerly direction to the parking lay-by area (approximately 40 metres).

    1. To install no waiting/no loading at any time restrictions on the east side of the unnamed Finsbury Park ring road, from a point approximately 9.4 metres north from the northern kerb line with the Finsbury Park access road (Hornsey Gate), heading south for approximately 63.2 metres.

    1. To install 6x nose-in disabled parking bays on the west side of the unnamed Finsbury Park ring road (in lay-by south of Hornsey Gate, includes 3x existing disabled bays) operating between 8am–4pm with a maximum stay period of 3 hours and no return within 2 hours. The bays will have a total length of 4.5 metres and widths of 2.6 metres, not inclusive of clearance hatching.

  1. To install a 9.5 metre loading only bay on the west side of the unnamed Finsbury Park ring road (in lay-by south of Hornsey Gate, south side to proposed adjacent disabled bays) operating between 8am–4pm with a maximum stay period of 30 minutes and no return within 2 hours.

A copy of the proposed Order, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Order can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey. Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
