LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO. 305) ORDER 2026

(ARCHER ROAD AND OAKDENE ROAD, ORPINGTON AND DUDDINGTON CLOSE, MOTTINGHAM)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 28th July 2026 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 10th August 2026.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) introduce new no waiting at any time restrictions in Archers Road, Orpington and Oakdene Road, Orpington as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice

(b) amend the day of operation of existing waiting restrictions in Duddington Close, Mottingham from Tuesday 8am to 12 noon, to Wednesday 8am to 12 noon as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice

Copies of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting ‘At Any Time’:

ARCHER ROAD, Orpington, (a) both sides, (i) from its junction with Oakdene Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

OAKDENE ROAD, Orpington, (a) the north-east side, (i) from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of Archer Road in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb line of Archer Road

SCHEDULE 2:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting Wednesdays between 8.00am and 12 noon

DUDDINGTON CLOSE, Mottingham, (a) both sides, (i) from a point 8 metres south of its junction with Dunkery Road in a southerly direction to a point 0.5 metres north of the southern boundary of No. 82 Clayhill Crescent.
