Traffic Management Order 2026 No.27

The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003

(Amendment No.309) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 28th July 2026 has made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 10th August 2026.

The general effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) Introduce new No Waiting “at any time” restrictions as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice

(b) Convert a section of an existing Bus Stop Clearway to an extended length of new No Waiting “at any time” restrictions as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice

Copies of the Order may be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS:

No Waiting “at any time”

BROMLEY LANE, CHISLEHURST (a) south-east side (i) from a point 10.6 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 8 & 10 in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 27.1 metres

SCHEDULE 2:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS:

Convert a section of an existing Bus Stop Clearway to an extended length of new No Waiting “at any time” restrictions

BROMLEY LANE, CHISLEHURST (a) north-west side (i) from a point 38.4 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 8 & 10 in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 7.8 metres
