The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 300) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 28th July 2026 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The Order will come into operation on 10th August 2026.

The effect of the Orders, in relation to Hillside Road, Orpington would be to: -

(a) introduce new no waiting ‘at any time’ restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) revoke the existing permit holders parking bays on the north-eastern side of Hillside Road opposite Nos 2 to 12 Hillside Road.

Copies of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

No Waiting ‘At Any Time’: -

HILLSIDE ROAD, Bromley, (a) north-east side (i) from a point opposite the north-western boundary of No. 1 in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres
