(BLACKFORD ROAD AND DICK PLACE) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 - TEMP/26/120
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate for Scottish Power duct installation works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of: (i) dick Pl, from the extended east kerbline of Kilgraston Rd, eastwards for 10m; & (ii) blackford rd, from the extended east kerbline of Whitehouse Ln, eastwards to the extended west kerbline of Kilgraston Rd; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of blackford rd, from the extended east kerbline of Whitehouse Ln, eastwards to the extended west kerbline of Kilgraston Rd. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of road described in (b). The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures will be by way of: (i) dick Pl – Dick Pl, Lauder Rd, Grange Ln & Kilgraston Rd; & (ii) blackford rd – Whitehouse Ln, Whitehouse Ter and Kilgraston Rd. The Order shall have effect from 10/08/26 to 18/09/26.
