(TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 2 ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (D59-5 Harrietfield, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 10 August 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D59-5 at Harrietfield, Kelso.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D59/5, A6089, B6364, D59/5 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
