NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 26
LINCOLN PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 1220
PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER 2026

On 7 July 2026 Lincolnshire County Council confirmed the abovenamed Order.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create Public Footpath No. 1220 in the City of Lincoln running from Public Footpath No. 6 at OSGR SK 9677 7237 in a generally north north westerly, north easterly and then northerly direction with a width of 3 metres for approximately 252 metres to meet with Public Footpath No. 3 at OSGR SK 9674 7260.

A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order drawing have been placed and may be seen during office hours at Main Reception, Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln, LN1 1YL. The Order comes into force as from 7 July 2027 but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 6 August 2026 make an application to the High Court.
