ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following
stretches of road:
l Manor Road closed from outside property 2 to the side of
property 4. Vehicular Diversion Route: Mount Road,
Wakeley Hill, Church Hill, Penn Road and vice versa. It is
anticipated that the closure will operate from
17 August 2026 until 19 August 2026.
l Swan Bank closed from its junction with Manor Road to
outside property 5. Vehicular Diversion Route:
Wakeley Hill, Church Hill, Penn Road and vice versa. It is
anticipated that the closure will operate from
17 August 2026 until 28 August 2026.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken between the dates specified above.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of HV
electricity ducts by National Grid Electricity Distribution.
